The project is a symbolic loop in the biography of a unique car. The FSO Polonez – a nostalgic allegory of the Polish car industry – is brought back to the place of its birth. The car, like a specter, travels through the interiors and grounds of the abandoned Fabryka Samochodów Osobowych in Żerań. This video, filmed in the style of a car race, serves as a kind of ritual preceding the tragic end of the Polonez’s fate. It is destroyed in the factory, transforming into a compression, a sculpture embedded in its ruins.
